1/3: Safer neighbourhoods
Derbyshire Constabulary's safer neighbourhood team will hold a "street meet" at Eyam Church Centre on Friday March 3rd from 11am, for an hour.
3/3: Conference and expo
Business Peak District's annual conference and expo will be held at the Crescent Hotel in Buxton on Thursday, March 30th. The overall theme is to be "economic growth and prosperity in Derbyshire". Bookings are via the East Midlands Chamber website.
13/3: Going blue
The #GoBlue fundraising initiative is back. Hosted by Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen's Trust, the call to the community is to wear something blue, organise a blue-themed event or decorate the office in blue to raise money for these end-of-life charities, Monday March 20th to Sunday 26th.
20/3: Brew with the crew
Firefighters and the police are extending an invitation to have "brew with the crew" at Bakewell Fire Station on Monday March 27th, from 5pm to 8pm.
20/3: Potholes cash
The County Council expects to receive £4.2 million as its share of £220 million of grants announced by government to repair and maintain roads in 2034/24. Around 22,000 potholes have been fixed in the county so far this year.

6/2: Tinnitus awareness
Live Life Better Derbyshire has advised that February 20th to 26th is Tinnitus Awareness Week: tinnitus being the name for hearing disruptive noises that do not come from an outside source. For support and information visit website tinnitus.uk.
8/2: Rescheduled Bucks
Buxton FC's recently postponed Vanarama National League North football match at Leamington has been rescheduled for Tuesday February 14th, kick-off 7.45pm.
20/2: Eating Awareness Week
The national Eating Awareness Week will run from February 27th to March 5th. Local support is available from Derby-based First Steps, call 01332 367571.
21/2: Earthquake coffee morning
A coffee morning in aid of Turkey-Syria earthquake funds will take place on Saturday February 25th from 10am in Tideswell's Fountain Square Centre.

9/1: Brew Monday
The Samaritans are the driving force behind "Brew Monday" on January 16th, an initiative aimed at persuading people to reach out and connect with family, friends and colleagues: cordial cuppas all around.
12/1: Lottery funding
Derbyshire Dales Council for Voluntary Service will be hosting a Zoom talk by Vijay Kumari of the National Lottery Community Fund from 10am on Thursday January 26th. To book a place phone 01629 812154 or email enquiries@ddcvs.org.uk.
20/1: Garden waste collections
Subscriptions for 2023 garden waste collections by Derbyshire Dales District Council open on January 23rd. Residents who pay before March 3rd will be entered into a draw, with 20 winners each having their fee refunded.
23/1: Life-saving kits
Life-saving emergency bleed kits are to be given to a selection of pubs and bars in High Peak and Derbyshire Dales by Derbyshire Constabulary. The kits are for use by the public in cases of serious bleeding before the arrival of the emergency services.
24/1: Police street-meet
The Constabulary's next community street-meet will be at Litton Village Hall on Monday January 30th, from 4pm.
26/1: Coronation funding
The National Lottery Community Fund is making up to £10,000 per neighbourhood project linked time-wise to King George III's coronation. Applications will need to be made by mid-February: more information on tnlcommunityfund.org.uk.
