2/5: Trustees at DDCVS
Derbyshire Dales Council for Voluntary Service has vacancies on its board of trustees, The organisation would like to hear from anyone involved in the voluntary sector, or with experience of financial management, or younger people aged 18-plus. The local Safer Neighbourhood Team will host an open-air meeting at Hawkhill Road, Eyam from 2pm to 3pm on May 25th.
9/5: Mental health
The County Council is leading a regional response to Mental Health Awareness Week, May 9th to 15th. Activities are planned county-wide, to combat loneliness in particular. See derbyshire.gov.uk/council/news-events.

East Midlands Chamber, working with Business Peak District, is to hold a government-funded seminar on making the most of business online, Thursday May 17th from 9.30am at the Best Western Lee Hotel in Buxton. Full information is on businesspeakdistrict.com.
12/5: Firearms surrender
Derbyshire Constabulary is running a firearms surrender scheme until May 29th. Anyone locally who is in possession of a pistol, rifle, shotgun, air weapon or imitation is invited to hand it in at Buxton police station.
