1/3: Safer neighbourhoods
Derbyshire Constabulary's safer neighbourhood team will hold a "street meet" at Eyam Church Centre on Friday March 3rd from 11am, for an hour.
3/3: Conference and expo
Business Peak District's annual conference and expo will be held at the Crescent Hotel in Buxton on Thursday, March 30th. The overall theme is to be "economic growth and prosperity in Derbyshire". Bookings are via the East Midlands Chamber website.
13/3: Going blue
The #GoBlue fundraising initiative is back. Hosted by Blythe House Hospicecare and Helen's Trust, the call to the community is to wear something blue, organise a blue-themed event or decorate the office in blue to raise money for these end-of-life charities, Monday March 20th to Sunday 26th.
20/3: Brew with the crew
Firefighters and the police are extending an invitation to have "brew with the crew" at Bakewell Fire Station on Monday March 27th, from 5pm to 8pm.
20/3: Potholes cash
The County Council expects to receive £4.2 million as its share of £220 million of grants announced by government to repair and maintain roads in 2034/24. Around 22,000 potholes have been fixed in the county so far this year.
